Well known as a Recreation seekers paradise, you will want to experience all that Gaylord has to offer including the North Central State Trail which goes from Gaylord to Mackinaw City. This trail is a great hiking and biking trail in the summer and and part of our 300 snowmobile trail system. 

One of Gaylord’s prime features is the area’s 17 championship caliber Golf courses. With numerous courses receiving national rankings and hotels and resorts offering spectacular packages, Gaylord is known as America’s Summer Golf Mecca.

Otsego County is simply the best place to get your feet, your line or your paddle wet. A short drive will take boaters, water skiers, and swimmers to just about any-sized lake for a wet and wild time.
For those looking for the area's other catches, dozens of lakes are stocked with the catch-of-the-day. Otsego Lake offers a variety of species of freshwater fish and a variety of seasons in which to pursue them.
